• Sword Type & Length – Katana, wakizashi, tanto, odachi, or naginata, with your chosen length and shape.
• Sori (Curvature) – Select the curvature that suits your style.
• Kissaki (Tip) – Choose from multiple tip designs.
• Bo-hi (Fuller Groove) – Optional groove for a lighter and balanced feel.

Next, select the steel and lamination method:

• Options include 1060 carbon steel, 1095 carbon steel, T10 tool steel, Damascus, and the highly prized Tamahagane steel – collected from the rivers surrounding Longquan and forged over weeks using our traditional process.

Add the hamon (temper line):

• Eight natural, clay-tempered styles or four free abrasive styles.
• Customize the boshi (hamon finish on the kissaki).

Finish your blade with:

• Polish styles – enhance the hamon with a mirror-like finish from our togishi (professional polisher).
• Custom colors or engraving for a personal touch.

Then, move to the fittings:

• Habaki & Seppa – custom collar and spacers.
• Tsuba (Guard) and decorative fittings (koshirae, menuki, fuchi) – more than 170 styles available.
• Tsuka (Handle) – choose length, handle wrap, and samegawa (ray skin under wrap) color.

Finally, customize the saya (scabbard):

• Orders begin processing 24 hours after payment to allow time for changes.
• Forging starts with the chosen steel and lamination method, shaped by our master swordsmith.
• About a week later, our togishi polisher enhances the finish and detailing.

Assembly Time:

• 85% of swords are assembled within 1-3 weeks if parts are in stock.
• Complex builds may take 2-3 months, in some cases up to 4 months.
